I didn't know what to name my site so for now the Pat Baeske seems appropriate.

Gosh it is great to be back home after all those years in NYC.

As I got off the airplane and looked around all I could see were the corn fields, and smell the fresh air of the midwest.

I had to pinch myself three times and remind myself that Pat Baeske was back home for good. No more big city life, expensive apartments, millions of people and the 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. job that lasted much longer than the intended four years.

I have settled in at the old Miller Farm for now. It is a nice rental until the villa is built and I move in for good.

My friends held the Baeske Party my first week back and it was like the old days. Even Tim showed up from Chicago! It was so great to see him again after all those years he spent in Europe. He just got elected to the chambers hall of fame and will be the 7th from our class to be so honored.

I started writing my next novel and hope to publish it in the fall or early spring. The title - Not sure yet.
