I didn't know think my friends realize that over the years I enjoyed writing about my adventures in the city and my travels around the world. It is now time for me to finish the one goal I dreamed of since being a young girl - writing a novel.

The farm setting is perfect and I now am going about the first debate of will my name be Pat Baeske or Pat Taylor on the cover. Mixed emotions about that. Some of the friends feel the time has come to return to being a Taylor while others are firm that the Baeske name is what I am so proud of and should continue to use be honored with it.

I noticed the bank still has the first picture I painted in their lobby. Wow, that was over twenty years ago. I don't think Mr. Miller is still on the board of directors, but if he is I will certainly thank him for allowing me to dedicate by first of many pictures to his bank.

And the novel ... simple - small town girl, big city - lots of adventure and of course mr right. Stay tuned for more information about his detective adventures and the double murder on Mulberry Street!
